Hi, My name's Kelly, and when I turned 13 my body revolted against me... It decided that it was my now no longer my safe house, but instead a battle ground, and waged war unto itself. My body, my adversary. Ever since I have been fighting daily to convince it otherwise. This is my story of chronic illness, chronic pain and chronic mental anguish. Conversely it is also a saga of success, of rising above the incurable and living life best life given one's bodily limitations. A story seeded with the evergreen shoots of hope. *** This blogs is about my upcoming book writing. A book I am being called to name "Hope and Other Drugs" - the same name as this blog.
